For this piece I decided to stay away from the typical action/dynamic pose and stick to a more symmetrical design with slight variations, since this is what HR Giger's illustrations suggest me. I tried to achieve the essense of a creature lurking in the shadows, in a state of awareness, guarding the hive and its surroundings. The rock formation is based on the landscape of the planet LV-426.
